This session will explore how to create collaboration data-based Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) to decode workplace interactions and extract strategic HR insights. By analyzing communication patterns instead of using surveys, we’ll demonstrate how to map an organization’s true structure, identify key influencers, and predict employee behaviors such as attrition. Through examples, we’ll showcase how this innovative approach drives informed decision-making in critical areas like team reorganization, succession planning, and enhancing organizational resilience. In this session, you will learn:
I am a Data Engineer & Scientist with a PhD in Learning and Communication in Digital Environments. For over 6 years, I've been dealing with People data at Automattic, where I connect data sources and implement predictive models to help create an exceptional workplace for the most brilliant people. My passion lies in fostering open, transparent, and horizontal environments that promote participation, enhance happiness, and drive outstanding results in performance and learning.
My mission is to leverage data to improve hiring and onboarding experiences, build strong leadership for remote and distributed teams, and foster a culture of collaboration and creativity. I enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems while explaining everything in simple terms, to empower non-data people to adopt data insights.
Just sometimes, I explain simple things in complex ways, and I write poetry.
