I have almost 10 years of international experience; nearly half of which has involved tech recruitment. Attracting, hiring and retaining talent within the games industry has become a real passion of mine, and is something that still powers me through the rainiest of Mondays. At Wooga I oversee recruitment across Tech and Product roles and coach employees on conducting efficient and structured interviews. Additionally, I act as an advocate for a fair recruitment process and educate employees on the best practices for overcoming implicit biases during interviews.
While a happy accident led me into recruitment, I very quickly took to it. The main drivers in my job are: helping candidates from all over the world land their dream job and seeing their passion and dedication for the gaming industry.
