Yannick is Vice President Human Resources for Corporate & Government Relations in Shell, based in Headquarters in The Hague. His responsibilities include global oversight of Human Capital across the Functions, and he sits in the Group’s External Relations and Government Relations Leadership Teams. Yannick is also a member of the Executive Board of Pink Pearl, Shell’s LGBT Employee Network.
Yannick holds a degree in Business Management & Tourism from the University of Surrey in the UK and La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
In 2004, Yannick started his career in the Airlines Industry, working for Star Alliance, in Airport Products & Services Development.
Yannick joined Shell in 2006, initially working in the team that developed the HR Online Self-Service facilities and established the offshore HR Services. Between 2009 and 2016, Yannick held a number of HR Business Partner roles in the Downstream and Upstream Businesses in the Netherlands, Singapore and Malaysia. Throughout his career, Yannick developed a keen interest for Organisation Effectiveness and is known for his creativity, and pragmatic value driven problem-solving.
In his free times, Yannick enjoys discovering the world and has travelled to over 100 Countries across all continents, from Antarctica to Spitsbergen and Micronesia to Easter Island.
